God is Good

God has given us so much blessing
Since we wake up, everything we see is a blessing
The trees, flowers, clouds, and the air we breathe
Many of us don’t appreciate good things but see it differently
Why not, count the blessings so that we live life to the fullest

Ask God what you really like
Sure it will be given to you
Always remember God knows what is the best for all of us
Faith can move mountains
Trust the our Lord that our prayers will be answered
Don’t lose hope, just be patient

Praise and Thanksgiving

Many of us are complaining of difficulty in daily life but God only wants the best for us. He has the reason for everything. Just always trust Him with all your heart. As a mother, I’m always worried for my family’s health most especially for my daughter’s health. But of course, in order to remove my anxiety, I found myself praying for my strength and let myself trust to the Lord Jesus. For GOD, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Always remember that the Lord said us that "He never leave us".

O God, it is right for us to praise you in Zion and keep our promises to you,
because you answer prayers.

People everywhere will come to you on account of their sins.
Our faults defeat is, but you forgive them.
Happy are those whom you choose, whom you bring to live in your sanctuary.
We shall be satisfied with the good things of your house, the blessing of your sacred Temple.

You answer us by giving us victory, and you do wonderful things to save us.
People all over the world and across the distant seas trust in you.
You set the mountains in place by your strength, showing your mighty power.
You calm the roar of the seas and the noise of the waves;
You calm the uproar of the people.
The whole world stands in awe of the great things that you have done.
Your deeds bring shouts of joy from one end of the earth to the other

You show your care for the land by sending rain; you make it rich and fertile
You fill the streams with water; you provide the earth with crops.
This is how you do it: you send abundant rain on the plowed fields and soak them with water; you soften the soil with showers and cause the young plants to grow.
What a rich harvest your goodness provides! Wherever you go there is plenty.
The pastures are filled with flocks; the hillsides are full of joy.
The fields are covered with sheeps; the valleys are full of wheat.
Everything shouts and sings for joy.

Just want to thank you for everything
The air we breathe, the beautiful morning
For all the blessing we had

Whenever we go, whatever we do
Always there for help

Thank you for protecting my family from sickness and danger
Thank you for giving me opportunity to earn
Thank you for all the good friends I had

Most of all, thank you for the love given to us.

Thank you, President Aquino

Filipino people are mourning for the former President Corazon Aquino who died of colon cancer last August 1 at the age of 76.

His son, Noynoy Aquino announced the news that her mother is died because of cardiac respiratory arrest. It was 16 months ago when President Aquino discovered that she had colon cancer.

Corazon Aquino had been born into a wealthy family. She involved in politics before her husband, Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. was gunned down at Manila’s airport in August 1983 when he returned from exile. She sustained democracy and swept away a dictator with a “people power”. . She still remained active in social and political causes after she stepped down in 1992.

Thank you President Corazon Aquino for being a good leader and fighting freedom with the Filipino people. I know that she is very happy now being with our Heavenly Father.

Trust the Lord with all your Heart

It was April 10 when we brought my daughter to the hospital because of vomiting and stomachache. We found out that she had a urinary tract infection (UTI). She took antibiotic for seven days. I still worry for her because occasionally she complained for stomachache, so I decided to take her urine for urinalysis but the result of the test is negative. I tried to give her more fluids such as water and fruits. That time, I was worried so much for recurrent urinary tract infection.

On May 15, she had difficulty passing urine; I thought that it could be “balisawsaw” or urinary incontinence because of the very hot weather here. I tried to give her more water but after 3 days, she still suffer from stomachache so we decided to give antibiotic, for a while the symptoms had gone but after 4 days, she suffers from stomachache and vomiting at the same time had difficulty urinating so we decided to take her to the doctor, the doctor just prescribed the same antibiotic but a large dosage and a medicine for easy urinating. After 3 more days, the symptoms still there, so she had urine culture in order to detect the type of bacteria in her kidney or bladder. Of course, I always praying that she will be okay and there is no complication or any kidney or bladder stone present

I and my husband decided to take my daughter to the healer here in our town, the healer said that there is a hard mineral salt build up in her bladder that’s why she had difficulty in passing urine. She advised her to take herbal medicine such as male pandan leaves and banaba leaves. We boiled pandan and banaba leaves and add water and substitute for water. After drinking pandan and banaba, her stomachache was gone and minimizes the difficulty of passing urine. But as day passes, she has very frequent urination for about every 15 minutes for the whole day. We often visit to our bathroom for about 35 to 40 times a day. I feel so very exhausted and worried for my daughter’s health. All I have to do is to trust the Lord for He is a Great Healer. I don’t want her to take antibiotic so we decided to continue her herbal medicine.

After one month and one week of taking herbal, she is now having a normal urination. I still give her every morning a glass of pandan and banaba leaves extract for maintenance. Also, we also change our food lifestyle. No cookies, sugary foods, carbonated drinks, no fastfood, and less salt.

I can’t explain the worries I feel during that time. I lose weight. All my dresses are not fit to me anymore. I feel stressed and depressed that time, I was not able to eat and sleep. I always pray that everything will be fine. I have too much worried for my daughter’s health. Thanks to my bestfriend, Grace for always reminding me that God is always there for us. She always said that “Always believe in my prayer”. I know that the Lord is behind all the healing of my daughter”. I believe that the Lord just want to teach me and guide me the healthy lifestyle for my family.

My Daughter had UTI

One morning my daughter is complaining of her tummy pain and vomiting at the same time. I and my husband thought that it could be a common tummy pain such as overeating or gas stomache pain. I noticed that she had a severe stomache pain. Once she eats food or drink milk, she vomits; after a several hours, I worried so much so I decided to take her to the hospital for medical evaluation. A blood and urine sample was taken for testing. After a few minutes, 3-5 hpf pus cell was found in her urine sample indicating that she has urinary tract infection. The doctors recommend us to give her antibiotic twice a day for seven days. Aside from antibiotic, the doctor also gave medicine for abdominal pain.

As of now, I observe her diet. As much as possible, I avoided her to eat salty foods. Also, I always prepared a menu that has soup and fruits and vegetables. In addition to that, I make sure that she drinks lots of waters and take vitamin C always in order to prevent the recurrent uti.

As parents, we should be aware of UTI causes and symptoms in order to cure early and prevent serious medical problems.

Planning Everyday Meal

I always cook pork nilaga (boiled pork) or nilagang pata (boiled pork leg) and chicken tinola once a week because my daughter requested it. These menus are her favorite recipe and I’ am glad about that because I considered pork nilaga and chicken tinola to be nutritious food since it consist of vegetables.

One of the difficult tasks of being a mother and a housewife is preparing everyday meal. I’m so lucky that I have a husband who will always help me preparing our everyday meal especially every morning, he help me prepare our breakfast. I see to it that we eat breakfast before going to work because I know the healthy benefits of eating breakfast.

It is important to plan your weekly meal so that you can modify if according to the request of your family members. Planning daily meal is a time saver due to fewer trips to the drive thru or market and also controls portions and prevents hidden calories. In addition, it tends to be less expensive and higher nutrients.

Of course, one way to plan everyday meal is first get ideas from family members so that it can be easier for you to prepare meal if their food preferences are considered. Then, make a list of all the main dishes of family members and the foods that you would like to serve. List all the ingredients that you will need to prepare the meals. In addition, you should also pantry and refrigerator contents and include it in your list.

Other advantage of planning a meal is choosing healthy foods for your family since you will identify what to include in breakfasts, lunches, dinner and snacks.

Always remember to include fruits and vegetables in your shopping list. Know also nutritional guidelines for your eating lifestyle.

At first, I was hesitating to try internet business but there is no harm in trying. He told me to try a free hosted blog, so I sign up to blogger.com and registered my first blog. Actually, I don’t know how to start but because of his constant motivation and advice to be patient. I continue to write anything under the sun. He also told me to join to webmaster forum to be able for me to become familiar to the terms of internet marketers. At first, I am confused but later on, I just follow some simple steps of how to get more visitors to my blog. I submitted my blog to several directories and social bookmarking sites. For the first 4-6 months, I just get a few clicks from my visitor, I just earning a few bucks.

Whenever I have question on my mind, I just search on google or yahoo so that I am able to learn. Sometime, I also go to forum and ask some question and I am glad that there is a kind fellow webmaster that is willing to help and answer my question.

As of now, I have three registered blog and earning a few bucks from it through adsense program. Thanks for my friends who help me to register my blog and for their hosting service. It’s a great financial help for my family.
