My Expired Domain

I forgot to renew my domain, http://lettersample.net so when I open my site, it was sedo parking.  Then, I immediately renew my domain in name account. Thank that after a few minutes my site is now alive in the internet.

My Baby is Lactose Intolerance

My premature baby  was hospitalized when he is 2 weeks old due to fever and diarrhea.  His pedia suspected that he has rota virus.  He stay for 1 week in the hospital and has series of fecalysis and CBC. He takes a lot of antibiotic since his pedia diagnosed that he has an infection.  But after one week of going home, he still some minor diarrhea and found out that he is lactose intolerance that’s why his pedia recommended to have a enfalac A+ Lactose Free milk instead of taking regular milk.  He said that lactose intolerance in children can be outgrown that why he recommended to take a lactose intolerance milk for 6 months and then we will try regular milk if he is still lactose intolerance.

Being a lactose intolerance means that the body cannot produce enough lactase needed to digest a lactose. Lactase is the enzyme that digest a lactose while a lactose is the primary sugar found in cow’s milk and other dairy products.  The undigested lactose will stays in the intestine and can cause gastrointestinal problems.

Some symptoms of lactose intolerance are diarrhea, stomach bloating, abdominal cramping, or stomach gas once he eats or drinks cow’s milk and dairy products such as cheese after 30 minutes.

There is no treatment for lactose intolerance but it can be prevented by avoiding and limiting milk products and dairy goods.

My Premature Baby

Time fly so fast that my baby will be six (6) months on December 16, 2013.  I give him birth through Caesarian Section (CS) last June 16 when my amniotic sac was broke.  My obgyne decided to admit me in the hospital and give me some medicine for my baby to have a strong lung. After 24 hours in the hospital, she performs a caesarian section.  The pediatrician said that my baby has a hard time to breathe so he gives oxygen for a few seconds and put him in the incubator for two days and put him under antibiotics. The pedia decided to have emfalac A+ for Premature as to be his milk since I was not be able to breastfeed him.

Then finally the time has arrives me and my baby was going home. But, it sad to say that after two (2) weeks that were going home, my baby boy once again admitted to the hospital because of fever and diarrhea.  The pediatrician said it is not normal for two (2) weeks old baby to have fever and he said that my baby is almost dehydrated. During the 6 days of staying in the hospital, his pedia said that maybe rota virus the cause of diarrhea since after a series of fecalysis there is no amoeba found in her feces.  After 6 days of staying in the hospital, we releases to the hospital.  But after going home for a few days, he always suffering from diarrhea and when the fecalysis were performed, there is always a fat globule in his poop.  His pedia that my baby is lactose intolerance, he give him emfalac A+ lactose free milk.  Lactose intolerance may grown up and after six (6) months we will try to give him a regular milk to ensure if he still lactose intolerance or not.

Itchy Prickly Heat Rash

Other common skin disease during summer season is prickly heat rash.  My daughter wake up one morning and told me that her neck is very itchy, I check her neck and I notice some red skin rash. I think it is a prickly heat rash because of very hot weather. 

Prickly heat is an itchy, red skin rash that usually occurs when there is excessive sweating due to heat exposure of overheating.  It also called miliaria or uticaria (hives).  It is not a serious skin disease since it is usually self-limited and resolves in hours to a few days without treatment.  But, if it may be more severe, it requires professional medical care.


Miliaria or prickly heat is can be found any parts of the body area like face or neck where tiny, pinpoint and pick.  It is due to small sweat particles that are trapped in the skin.  It may cause inflammation and itching around the sweat pores.  It may look like small clear blisters or like gooseflesh.  It is often occurs during repeated episodes of sweating in a hot humid environment like summer season.  It is more common in infants but may also occur in adults. 

Prickly heat can be resolves without treatment, often within a day after changing to a cooler environment.  Some of the home remedies for prickly heat are to take cool showers or bath and avoid skin to skin contact by placing a clean cotton washcloth or material between skin folds. Also, drinking a lot of water is always helpful to maintain cooler body temperature and for overall hydration and body temperature regulation.
